Bareboat Chartering
For those who know how to sail, we have a select fleet of fine boats available for bareboat chartering.
Reservations are strongly encouraged, as opportunities to charter in the
2010 sailing season will fill up fast.

Check-out time is
9:00 a. m. Check-in time is 6:00 p. m. If vessel is returned after
6 p.m. on the last day of the charter, an additional $75 per hour will be
charged.

A security
deposit will be collected at time of check-out. This is refundable
when the boat is returned and check-in is complete and satisfactory.
Charterer is responsible for any damage to boat. If vessel is not
returned in a satisfactory condition, a $150 cleaning fee will be charged.

Charterers arriving
the night before a scheduled morning departure may spend that night onboard at
the docks for an additional $125.00.

Dinghies are
provided. 1 man kayaks available for $15/day.

Linens and sleeping
bags are available for rental at $25/person per charter.

Provisioning is not
provided. Stores are available and nearby.

Sailing, Inc. - Bareboat Charter Cancellation
Policy
Sailing, Inc. requires a 50% deposit to reserve all bareboat charters, the
following is an explanation of Sailing, Inc.’s cancellation policy.
45 days or more prior to departure: no penalty or reschedule the
charter dates and pay an administration fee. 44-30 days prior to
departure: $300 penalty or reschedule the charter dates and pay an
administration fee. 29 days
prior to departure: no refund of your 50% deposit.
If any scheduled payment by Charterer has not been received by the
payment due date, Sailing, Inc. reserves the right to cancel a charter
retaining all deposits and fees paid to date. All changes to bookings
(date or type of boat) after confirmation will be subject to a $50
administration fee..

No animals aboard
boats.

All boats are
non-smoking vessels below decks.

A full fuel tank
will be provided. Extra fuel containers will be provided upon
request. Charterers are responsible for refueling the boat and extra fuel
containers upon return.

There is a $100 per
clogged up head charge.
All
rates are subject to applicable Kenai Borough Sales Tax.
Prices and boats are subject to change without notice.
Rates do not include provisions, running expenses such as fuel, and
breakage due to misuse of equipment.

BAREBOAT
CHARTER BOATS for 2010
"Yebo"
is a 2008 Beneteau 323--Sleeps
5-6. This vessel has a roller furling headsail and a classic,
full-batten main.
Her dive platform below the walkthrough transom offers ease of access to
the dinghy. A dinghy and BBQ are provided. Jiffy reefing,
self-tailing winches, refrigeration, propane stove and oven and hot and cold
pressurized water are all features that make this a great yacht for a short
get-away. Electronics include VHF radio, depth and knot-log. Catalytic heaters
provided by request. Please note there is no dodger.
"Lindsay
II" is a 2000 Catalina 470 Sleeps
8. This vessel is a great performer with incredible comfort. She
has three spacious cabins and three heads. The lines from her furling
headsail and full batten classic main all run aft, for ease of sailing her
while enjoying the beautiful Alaskan wilderness. She is equipped with a
forced air heating system, CD stereo system (speakers below and in the
cockpit), radar, autopilot, depth, knot log, GPS and chartplotter. She
has dual helm. She has a front loading refrigerator and a separate
freezer unit. This elegant yacht will make a week or two of touring in
the Kenai Fjords National Park or Prince William Sound an unforgettable
experience.
